Full Backyard Transformation: Pool

Another weekly wrap is out ⚜️

Solid progress from the team this week, despite the rain and cold weather.

We’ve been busy building the lower decks, installing joist bearers and blocking to create a really strong, solid frame, all secured with stainless steel fixings. We’ve also made a great start on the upper deck, including a smooth transition for the existing pavers path, which we carefully relaid to perfectly match the new layout.

The space is really starting to take shape and is promising to be a stunning new entertainment zone for summer. We can’t wait to hand over the finished project ,it’s going to be awesome!

The Method Behind the Craft is back ⚜️

After a rainy day, we managed to catch up on the work.

We’re now framing and installing the joists on top of the bearers. Each joist is securely fixed with custom stainless steel brackets designed specifically for this application. Combined with tight blocking, the whole frame has excellent rigidity and strength.

It’s incredibly satisfying to see the structure finally taking shape. There’s still plenty to do, but we’re excited to keep pushing towards the finish line.

Weekly Wrap is here! ⚜️

Another excellent week of solid progress across both sites.

On our Roman Pool renovation, we’ve completed the installation of all pile foundations and built the new planter. The space is really starting to take shape, the updated layout has already improved access and flow beautifully.

At Mission Bay, we received the plunge pool, which fitted perfectly into the Half Moon Kwila deck, a total success! With the pool in place, we finished the final section of privacy fencing and installed the gate access. The results look fantastic, and we’re very proud of what’s been achieved.

Most of our foundation piles are now in place and ready for the next stage. We’re currently building the new planters that double as retaining walls, these will completely transform access to the pool area, dramatically improve flow, and unlock so much more usable space.
Smartly integrated with the deck, they’ll create that beautiful floating effect while softening the deck stairs. It’s going to look incredible!

We’re currently preparing the foundations for the new decks, stairs, planter, and tiled patio that will beautifully wrap around the freshly refurbished pool. Most of the concrete piles are now set, and we’ll kick off the retaining work next week.
