Rebuilding a Broken Front Garden in Morningside

This Morningside front garden was doing very little for the house it belonged to. Broken concrete covered most of the usable area, and an uneven lower lawn met the street at an awkward step. Franc Landscapes stripped it back, regraded the site so the levels flowed from footpath to door, and rebuilt the whole space as an entertaining area. A compacted GAP 20 base sits under the new surfaces, with grey pavers underfoot, a pale hoggin path softening the approach and river pebbles marking the entrance. Railway sleepers, secured to concreted posts, hold the levels and edge the beds.
